Alta G. Eldridge, age 91, of Xenia, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at Hospice of Warren and Butler Counties. She was born September 13, 1933 in Lewis County, Kentucky, the daughter of Bruce and Violet (Dyer) McGlone.

In addition to her parents, Alta was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Morris Eldridge and brothers: Marvin, Grover, Edward and Leymone McGlone.

She is survived by her children: Beverly (Ron) Withrow of Beavercreek and Roger Dale (Pamela) Eldridge of Xenia; grandchildren: Casie (Macy) Goldberg, Zachary Withrow; Kevin and Ryan (Sydney) Eldridge; 5 great grandchildren: Cheyenne, Payton, Dylan, Zoey and Tatum; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Alta had been a faithful member of Southside Church of God. She especially enjoyed attending the Gospel singings, where she participated in singing and playing the guitar, until recent health issues prevailed. Together with her husband, they enjoyed being "snowbirds" in Florida.

Funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday, August 8th at McColaugh Massie Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Dan Jordan officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
