Angela L. McCray, age 76, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 7th at her residence. She was born February 3, 1948 in Dayton the oldest child of Evelyn V. (Hilliard) and Charles M. Thomas.

In addition to her parents, Angela was preceded in death by her brother: Timothy L. Thomas.

She is survived by her daughter: Kelly (Michael) Norman of Huber Heights; sister: Debra E. Woody of Huber Heights; 5 grandsons: Michael Norman II (Denisha); Ja'dden Norman; Austin Norman (Kelli); Kyle Norman and Devin (Elena) Norman; great grandson: Augustine; and her fiancé: James "Buck" Wicker, Jr.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Angela had been a caretaker, getting her CNA Certification to care for her father. She was very active with the Barbershop Quartet Harmony, singing with the Gem City and Sweet Adelines Choruses, as well as currently with the No Regrets Quartet.  She also attended the Beavercreek Baptist Church, and frequented their Bible Studies. She was an avid bookworm and loved reading.

A celebration of her life will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, December 18th at Beavercreek Baptist Church, 3511 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. Pastor Andrew Wencl officiating. Gathering for her friends and family will begin at 10 AM Wednesday the church until the time of service.
