Annette Entsminger, age 64, of Xenia, passed away March 7, 2025 at Harmony Health & Rehab. She was born November 12, 1960 in Xenia, Ohio the daughter of Ralph and Juanita (Nuchols) Riggs.

Annette is survived by her husband, David Edward Entsminger, Jr., whom she married September 28, 1984; children: Amber (John) Mingus, KY, Nicole Entsminger of Xenia, Ohio and Edward (Ashley) Entsminger of Eupora, MS; siblings: Janice Dunfee, Karen (Tom) Hoyd, Susan (Barry) Boyer, Mike (Michele) Boyd, John (Lois) Boyd, and Colleen (Danny) Wipperman; 4 grandchildren; uncle Walter Nuchols; many half siblings and extended family members.

Annette was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville. She was a member of the Ohio School Boards Association. She had been very involved with Greene County 4-H Clubs. Annette loved the outdoors, fishing, mowing the grass and gardening. She was also an avid reader, especially of John Grisham books. She had been a security guard assistant and bus assistant with Xenia High School. She also served as past Union President of Xenia Community Schools. Annette retired from the City of Xenia, where she had been a secretary with the Parks and Recreation Dept.

Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial to follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 11AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
