Barbara Ann Beaver, age 87, of Spring Valley, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Legacy of Centerville. She was born in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Pearl and Elsie Wertz.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Beaver; sons: Bret and Brad Jordan; siblings: Harry and Larry Wertz and Betty Tool; and the father of her children: Jack N. Jordan.

Barbara is survived by her daughter: Deborah Edwards (Bryan Tackett) of Xenia; sons: Bart Jordan of Spring Valley and Boyd (Emily) Jordan of Xenia; numerous grandchildren and extended family members.

She had been a cheerleader at Spring Valley High School. She was a beloved school bus driver for Xenia Schools for over 20 years. Barbara met her late husband, Jim while working together at ODOT. She enjoyed supporting him during his Santa Claus enactments. Most importantly, Barbara loved her grandchildren.

A celebration of her life is being planned for the future.
