Barbara Leanne Branham, age 62, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born September 15, 1961 in Springfield, Ohio, the oldest child born to Sharon Ann (Patrick) and the late Carl Wayne Day.

In addition to her father, Barb was preceded in death by her brother: Richard Lee Day and a grandson: Jackson.

Barb is survived by her children: Nickhole Day (Chad Anderson); Jennifer Leanne Carl (Bryan Fugate), Amanda (Brent) Johnsman and Matthew (Rachel) Branham; brother: Ronald Joe (Karen) Day; grandchildren: Trenton, Isla, Adeline and Rosevelyn; as well as numerous other family members.

Barb was proud to work at Towards Independence as an STNA. She graduated from Xenia High School and the Greene County Career Center, Class of 1980. She enjoyed cooking and listening to live music. She decorated extensively for every holiday, even the little ones. She loved to boat at Indian Lake and attend festivals and parades. Barb especially enjoyed her family and her grandchildren.

A gathering for friends and family will be held 2-5 PM Sunday, August 4th at Caesar Ford Park, 520 S. Stringtown Rd., Xenia, OH 45385.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
