Barbara J. Wagner, age 89, formerly of Xenia and more recently of the Masonic Community in Springfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Kettering Medical Center following complications from a heart procedure.

She was born August 28, 1934 in Bellbrook, Ohio the daughter of Harry and Jennie (Adams) Dumford. She continued to have fond memories and a lifelong affection for Bellbrook. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband: Frank W. Wagner; sons: Daniel Lee Wagner and Jon A. Wagner; 7 brothers and sisters: Donald, Ralph, George and Larry Dumford; Bonnie Ehlers, Geraldine Neace and Phyllis Blackaby.

She is survived by her children: Frank (Susan) Wagner of Naples, FL; Kenneth A. (Gina) Wagner of Riverside, CA; and Beth Copeland of New Carlisle; brother: Carl (Janet) Dumford of North Carolina; a daughter-in-law: Mary Wagner; 14 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Barbara retired from Greene Memorial Hospital after 32 years as an administrative assistant. She had been a loving member of the Bellbrook Presbyterian Church. Her family will cherish the love and dedication she showered them with as a dedicated and overall fantastic mother and grandmother.
