Becky Jo Grooms, age 65, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Harmony Health Care in Xenia. She was born September 16, 1958 in Jamestown, Ohio the daughter of Harvey and Violet (Stephens) Grooms.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her sister: Pamela Sue Lawson and her brother: Michael Grooms.

She is survived by her siblings: Teresa (Larry) Harris of Spring Valley; Keith Grooms of Dayton; Jeffery Grooms and Harvey Grooms Jr. both of Fairborn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Becky loved her family, especially the babies and the kids. She was always looking out for them and worried about their well-being. She was funny and loving, as well as being stubborn.
A gathering for family and friends will be held 4-6 PM Friday evening at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia where there will be a time for reflections led by her brother Keith.
