Beverly S. Umstead, age 60, of Jamestown, OH, passed away on October 29, 2025 at her residence. She was born on June 1, 1965 in Xenia, OH to Joyce (nee: Truesdale) (Jim) Ary of Xenia.

Bev is survived by her significant other of 16 years: Mike Heinz of Jamestown; sons: Justin (Carrie) Klontz of Wilmington, OH and Billy (Katie) Klontz of Jamestown, OH; grandchildren: Alayna, Jaxon, Mason, and Nellie Klontz; siblings: Christina Greene and Diane (Jeff) Hook; nieces and nephews: Arielle Greene, Lynzee Hook, Lashawn Greene; uncle: Jim Truesdale; and many cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

Bev was a private home health care nurse. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, being outdoors, and cooking. Bev was a proud recipient of a kidney and pancreas from a generous donor, which allowed her many more years to spend with her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at McColaugh Funeral Home, Xenia. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Bowersville. Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
