Bobbie Estes, age 81, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born November 22, 1942 in Lee County, Kentucky the youngest son of Taulbee and Ethel Rader Estes.

In addition to his parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by his daughter: Brandy Estes; and 12 siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Hayslip whom he married June 21, 1972; daughters: Stephanie and Kimberly; grandchildren: Tyler Estes and Michael Rogers; a great grandson: Myking Rogers; sisters: Sue Iler, Janice (Paul) Gilbert and Gladys (Dave); sister-in-law: Lavonne Berry; brother-in-law: Larry Meade and a special friend and caregiver, Russell Elkins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobbie retired from Greene Memorial Hospital where he had been a plumber. He had also been the owner of B&D Plumbing for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. After his retirement, Bobbie enjoyed quilting. He suffered from Dementia for many years, which caused him to limit his activities more recently.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, March 20th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Pastor Todd Martin officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment to follow in New Burlington Cemetery.
