Brian L. Chaney, age 38, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at his residence. He was born April 3, 1986 in Xenia. He was preceded in death by his mother: Debra Gillem Chaney.

Brian is survived by his father: Larry Chaney of Arkansas; brothers: Steven Chaney of Arkansas, Daniel Chaney of Arizona and Michael (Susan) Chaney of Kettering; and a special uncle: Eric (Amy) Gillem of Xenia; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Brian was a cook at Tuty's in Beavercreek. He graduated from Xenia High School. Brian enjoyed life and playing Texas Hold'em. He also loved football, especially the Bengals and the Buckeyes.

A memorial service will be held 3 PM Thursday, February 20, 2025 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held 2 PM Thursday until the time of service at the funeral home.
