Bussie Lee Ferguson, age 82 of Xenia, known to his friends as "Buss" and to family as "Dad and Poppy," floated his way to Heaven in the early morning of Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was born January 30, 1939 in Circleville, Ohio, one of seven children born to Thomas and Olga Ferguson. For a short time he grew up in Kentucky, before moving to Jamestown, Ohio, and graduating from Greeneview High School.  He worked at Bob Evans Farms Processing Plant for 28 years, retiring as plant manager. After 5 years of retirement, he went to work at SuperValu for 10 years retiring for the second time.

Bussie lived a long, happy love-filled life with his wife, Linda, who was his heart. They raised three children together and he was very proud of their family. They were his world. Bussie was a hard worker, he never met a stranger and was kind to everyone he came across. He always stood up for what he thought was right. He will be so very missed by his family and all who knew him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and brothers: Merl, Beacher, Dallas, Ugal, and Ben Ferguson.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children: Rick Ferguson, Lisa (Jim) Russell and Julie (Shawn) Jervis; grandchildren and great grandchildren: Chloe Jervis, Victoria, Jayce, and Julian Burnside; sister: Jean Finchum; brother-in-law: Eddie Lawrence; and many more family members and friends.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Monday, December 20th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
