God's Gift to Me
"My Wife Carol" -by Bill Brumma
Many years ago He chose a mate for me.
We were young and fancy free
Little did we know nor did we realize
How He was directing our lives.
He gave me a mate,
That I cherish
One who was a true help mate
A match for both of us
It takes years of looking back
To understand God's plan for us.
And now after three score and twelve years
Our love for each other continues to flourish.
Only in a different manner
Love and caring does not grow old
But grows stronger as time passes.
What more can I say
My Dear you are the light of my life.
Thank you God, for my wonderful wife.
Amen!
