Carol L. Dunn, age 76, of Xenia, passed away after a very brief illness on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born May 15, 1947 in Springfield, OH the daughter of Clarence F. and Geraldine E. (Hill) Williamson.

Carol is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Jeffrey A. and Carol E. Dunn of Miamisburg, granddaughter: Sophia; brothers: James F. (Donna) Williamson and Thomas D. (Diane) Williamson, both of Xenia.

Carol graduated from Xenia High School, Class of 1965. She had worked for many years at the Xenia AAA location as a travel agent and enjoyed helping others plan their adventures. Carol loved to travel herself, and moved to South Carolina for a short period, before returning to her home here in Xenia. She currently was volunteering at the Greene Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Xenia Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading and loved all the pets she had throughout her life, leaving behind her present rescue dog, Winston.

Services to celebrate her life will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 3rd at Xenia Presbyterian Church, 343 W. Ankeney Mill Rd., Xenia. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Saturday until the time of service at the church. A reception for family and friends will follow. Interment will be held privately at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to SICSA.
