Carol Jane Hayslip, age 79, of Lewis Center, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at her residence where she had lived for 20 years. She was born September 29, 1942 in Clinton County, Ohio, the daughter of Charles E. And Ethel M. (Scott) Henderson.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Jay E. Hayslip in 2016, a son: Ronald Hayslip; siblings: Winiford Henderson, Margaret Coats, Phyllis Tarvin, Merna Hunter, Janice Carter, Nancy Dodge, Richard, Jimmy, Jerry, Jesse, Steve, and Charles Henderson; and step children: Sandra Shaw, Linda Webb, and Peggy Mickel.

Carol is survived by her children: Johnny (Missy) Henderson, Leslie (John) Janczak, Kevin (Kathy) Hayslip, Bridget (Larry) Eagle, Susan Hayslip, and Jay Hayslip, Jr.; step children: Phyllis (Roy) Adams, Richard (Paulette) Hayslip, Mike (Debbie) Hayslip, Becky (Greg) Holiday, and Cindy Johnson; siblings: Vernon Henderson, Charlotte Johnson, and Sharon George; 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, many step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 8th , from 1:30 until the time of the service at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, OH. Service will follow at 2:30 PM with Pastor Todd Anderson officiating. The family asks that masks be worn by all in attendance. Carol will be buried at New Burlington Cemetery.
