Carol E. Morris, age 83, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother and great grandmother.

She was born July 24, 1939 in Clermont County, Ohio the daughter of James and Cathryn (Retch) Fry.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: James Morris, Jr.

Carol is survived by her children: Beverly Jean Jackson of Dayton; Donna Sue Ulliman of Xenia; Ruth Ann (Tom) Ruhe of Springfield; Kathy Louise (Melvin) Stickle of Leesburg and Ronald James (Jennifer) Morris of Spring Valley; sister: Elizabeth Ann (Frank) Morrow; brothers: James "Bud" (Janet) Fry  and Richard (Chris) Fry; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Baxter and Sha.

She had been an aide at Hospitality Home for 27 years. She loved flower gardening and enjoyed working at Robyn's Nursery. She also enjoyed crocheting, bingo and playing cards and spending time with her family.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Friday, January 27th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Family will receive friends 10:30 AM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
