Audrea Carole McNeil went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, August 11, 2025. Carole was born on December 14, 1933 in West Virginia to Bertha and Otto Adolph Steed.  Carole had three brothers and three sisters. Carole spent her younger years in southern Ohio until she married Vaughn Mitchell in June 1952.  They had four children; Brenda, David (Debbie), Theresa (WT) and Greg.
Carole loved the Lord, and she and her second husband, James McNeil, did prison ministries and then were administrators over the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington Ohio until their retirement.
Carole has 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  Preceded in death were her husband James McNeil; her daughter Brenda; her parents; her brothers' John, Curtis, and Gary; her sisters' Geraldine, Marietta and Jacqueline.
Private graveside and burial services will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, OH, with  McColaugh Funeral Home, Xenia, Ohio assisting with services.  In lieu of flowers donation to Alzheimer's Association.
