Carrie Beth Buzzelli, age 65, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born April 2, 1958 in Poughkeepsie, New York the daughter of Stanley and Rose Marie (Clay) Cornell, both deceased.

Carrie is survived by her husband: Thomas Patrick Buzzelli, Jr., whom she married September 5, 1986; children: Sarah Elizabeth, Shawna Nicole and Thomas Patrick Buzzelli III all of Xenia; her brother: Marc Cornell and her high school friend: Colleen Carlon.

Carrie graduated from Dover High School in New York, where she had been active in musical theater productions. She worked in various food service positions, including management with Little Caesars Pizza; Pizza Hut and Church's Fried Chicken. She was most recently a delivery driver with Donato's Pizza in Xenia. She had also been a carrier with Dayton Daily News, worked at Wickline's Garden Center and Circle K, as well as being a bus driver for Xenia Community Schools. She enjoyed talking with people and was a hard worker. She also loved her cats, coffee and crossword puzzles. Carrie loved her family and will be greatly missed.

A gathering for friends and family will be held at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia on Wednesday, May 17 ^th from 5-6:30 PM with reflections by her family at 6:30 PM.
