Cathy Jo Muterspaw, age 65, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her residence. She was born August 31, 1957 in Xenia, the daughter of Roderick and Lois (Hirn) Gordley.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Muterspaw in May 2022; her sister, Debra Thompson niece: Kari Thompson and a nephew: Jeffrey Richards.

She is survived by her son: Travis Gall of Xenia; step children: Ali (Brian) Pullins and Alex Muterspaw; sister: Gail (Terry) Richards and brother: Michael Gordley; grandchildren: Brianna (Gage) Collins; Brandon (Rebecca) Pullins; Blaine Pullins; Zayne Gall ; Asher Moore and Calabe Pyles; great grandchildren: Aleigha, Jayce, Zeke, Bryce and Blaze; and brother-in-law: Mark A. (Teri) Muterspaw; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Cathy was currently employed with Greene CATS. She graduated from Xenia High School, Class of 1975. She enjoyed gardening and horse racing. She was a very hard worker and had a heart of gold. Most importantly, she loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Graveside service will be held 10:30 AM Monday, October 3, 2022 at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
