Cecilia Charlene Denny, age 73, of Xenia, and currently a resident of Troy passed away Friday, April 23, 2021. She was born at home in Xenia, November 3, 1947 the daughter of William and Mary (Spurgeon) Green.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Charles and Cecil.

She is survived by her daughters: Terri Lynn Scoby of Xenia; Tiffini (Jason) Johnston of Troy and Tamara Hicks of Xenia; 9 grandchildren: Max (Laura) Scoby; Jacob Scoby; Jhett Peck; Jackson Johnston; Chloe Johnston; William Henry Johnston; Austin Denny; Ally Hicks and Ava Mendez; a great granddaughter: Ellie May Scoby; siblings: William (Shirley) Green; Sharon (Danny) McFarland; Patricia McCoy; Dottie Lee (David) Brewer; and Ericka (Bill) Holt; uncle: Dave (Jeanette) Green of Melbourne, FL; her companion: Dwight Fultz; as well as numerous other family members and friends; including life long friends: Pam Hurley; Pam Butts; Barb Sherill; and Dale Shearer.

She graduated from Xenia High School; attended Sinclair Community College and worked at the Green County Public Library.  She enjoyed time with family and friends and loved watching her grandchildren play sports. Like her father, she enjoyed organizing family gatherings, going to flea markets and gardening.

Services will be held 6 PM Thursday, April 29 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St, Xenia, with Pastor Ken Day officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday beginning at 4 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
