Charles Ashley Inwood, age 82, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 23, 1942 in Wilmington, Ohio the son of Charles Edward and Pauline Marie (Dixon) Inwood, both deceased.
Charles is survived by his children: Charles E. Inwood II; Melissa Dawson and Amy (Marty) Holmes; sister: Jane (Doug) Carmean; brothers: T. Allen (Karla) Inwood, Mark E. (Leslie) Inwood and Jonathon Inwood; 6 grandchildren and a great grandson; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Charles was a lifetime farmer and formerly a volunteer firefighter with Chester Twp. He retired from General Motors after over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Thirsty Thursday Harley-Davidson Biker Club. He was also a bus driver for Greene County School District for 6 years before fully retiring at the age of 79, making many friends and gaining respect from children of all ages.  He touched the hearts of many during his life journey. There wasn't anything he couldn't do once he set his mind to it.  He always said " don't put off to tomorrow what you can do today ".

Celebration of Life for Charles will be held 1:00 - 3:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1178 Inwood Road, Wilmington, OH 45177.
