Christopher Reed Sparks, age 43, of Xenia passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning, June 27, 2022. He was born February 25, 1979 in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Frank and Betty (Bowen) Sparks.
In addition to his loving parents, Chris is survived by the love of his life, Amanda (Hughes) Sparks, whom he married June 23, 2001; the joys of his life, his children: Grace, Chris and Gabe; sisters: Amanda (Pat) Finnegan and Samantha (Matt) Johnson; nephews: Devin, Landen, Nick and Brenden; and nieces: Isabella, Lillian and Scarlett; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, countless cousins and friends.

Chris spent many years coaching his son's in football and baseball; as well as enthusiastically attending his daughters' band performances. Chris loved sports and was a die hard fan of the Buckeyes and Bengals and had no greater joy than playing softball with friends who would become closer than brothers. Anyone who crossed paths with Chris would certainly never forget the experience. He had an infectious laugh, quick wit and especially sharp tongue. Chris graduated from Xenia High School Class of 1997 and was a member of Dayton Ave. Baptist Church. He was a sales representative with Basic Vitamins for 25 years. He will be missed more than people would ever realize.

Services will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Dayton Ave. Baptist Church, 1121 Dayton Ave, Xenia, OH 45385. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the church.
