Corinna Lynn Grooms, age 63, of Xenia, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born December 2, 1958 in Jamestown, Ohio one of eleven children born to Chester C. and Audrey E. (Berry) Grooms.

She is survived by her son: Shane Grooms of Xenia; significant other of 28 years, Mark A. Nelson; grandchildren: Alyssa and Aiden Grooms; Landon Carnes and Auhbri Wood; a great granddaughter: Ava Beard; sister: Beverly Grooms of Xenia; brothers: Wayne (Doris) Grooms of Spring Valley and Ronnie (Cathy) Grooms of Xenia; extended family: Anna and Misty Nelson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Corinna had been a hairdresser for most of her career. She also worked at the Greene County Treasurers Office and R&L Carriers. She enjoyed hunting antiques with her best friend, Ellen Pasquinelli. She was an advocate for sick animals. Corinna especially enjoyed spending her time with Mark, Shane and her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Corinna was preceded in death by siblings: Chester Grooms, Jr., Neil Grooms, Charlotte Massie, Marvin Grooms, Gene Grooms, Gary Grooms and Marilyn Adams; and a step daughter: Sarah Nelson.

Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, July 5 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held 12 Noon Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Silvercreek Cemetery, Jamestown.
