Dalton Vance Marlin, 21 of Xenia died Thursday, August 27, 2026 at his home.

He was born March 24, 2005, in Dayton the son of Kenneth and Kimberly (Washburn) Marlin II.  Dalton worked in maintenance at Walmart. He loved animals especially his cat, Arthur.

Dalton is survived by his mother, Kimberly Marlin; step father, Michael Day; sister, Cassidy (Bobbi) Marlin; step-brother, Gavin Day; grandparents, Kathy Leach, Kenneth Marlin Sr., and Jackie Washburn; aunts and uncles, Eric (Tara) Washburn, Melissa (Ryan) Grooms, Tanis Marlin, Duane Slater, Tony Marlin, Cindy Hatfield and Steve Marlin; cousins, Danielle (Wyatt) Slater, Bridget Slater, Kaleb (Elizabeth) Washburn, Jacob Washburn, Jacquelynn Washburn and Erica (Quentin) Washburn.  He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Marlin II; grandparents, Florence Marlin, Donald Marlin, Betty Cunningham, and Michael Washburn; step-father, Joseph Younker; aunt and uncle, Joyce Benken and Duke Marlin.

A Celebration of Life will be held 5 PM  Thursday, September 3rd, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2040 W. 2nd Street, Xenia, where visitation will be held from  4 PM Thursday until the time of service at the church.
