Dana M. Davey, age 89, of Cedarville, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Legacy Village. She was born October 14, 1936 in Leatherwood, Kentucky, the daughter of Richard B. and Myrtle (Dixon) Whitaker.

In addition to her parents, Dana was preceded in death by her husband: Patrick D. Davey; siblings: Emilee Dobson, Polly Long, Chesney Lawson, Dixie Campbell and Aster Whitaker.

She is survived by her children: Terea "Terry" (Kerry) Fullen-Duffy; Lynda "Lynn" Davey; Michael "Mike" Davey (Lisa); and Stephen "Steve" Davey (Sarah); 5 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She met her husband, Patick in Louisville while he was serving in the US Army and they were married February 12, 1958.  Dana attended Dayton Ave. Baptist Church. She had a feisty personality and was very social with a big sense of humor. She enjoyed traveling and looking for a deal at garage/yard sales. She loved her caregivers at both Kimberly Care and Legacy Village.

Funeral service will be held 6 PM Tuesday, July 7th at McColaugh Massie Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. Tim Abels officiating. Visitation will begin at 4:30 PM Tuesday.
