Daniel C. Lutz, age 56, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Soin Medical Center. He was born June 14, 1965 in Massillon, Ohio.

Dan was preceded in death by a brother: David Lutz.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda (Shaw) Lutz, whom he married June 28, 1986; his father and step mother: Daniel W. (Kathy) Lutz of Boliver, OH; mother: Eleanora L. (Feltz) Lutz of Naples, FL; his daughter: Courtney Lutz; "the good daughter": Rebecca Shope; both of Xenia; sister: Linda Kazak of Ft. Myers, FL and brother: Steven (Joyce) Lutz of East Sparta, OH; his mother-in-law: Linda Shaw; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Cooper.

Dan had been a road inspector with ODOT. He graduated from Xenia High School and Greene County Career Center. He was a Master Woodsman and Master Trapper, who enjoyed teaching others the trade. He was also a designer and reviewer of knives. Services will be held 11:30 AM Friday, December 10th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit Street, Xenia, OH, with Rev. Mark Brooks officiating.
