David F. Fadely, age 76, of Xenia, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Soin Medical Center. He was born February 6, 1945 in New Dover, Ohio.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Joan (Gibson) and Robert Fadely; a brother: Ronald Fadely; and his cats, George and Bubba.

He is survived by his wife, whom he married September 10, 1965, Karen (Haines) Fadely; daughters: Staci Pacheco and Mindy Fadely, all of Xenia; sister: Lynn (Robert) Erbaugh and sister-in-law: Edie Fadely; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

David was a mechanic with UPS and retired after 30 years of service.  He graduated from the Bailey Technical School in St. Louis, MO. He retired from the Air National Guard and was a member of the Xenia Lodge #49 F&AM. Together, David and Karen traveled thousands of miles on their motorcycle, from Nova Scotia to Key West, just to name a few places they visited. He also enjoyed fishing, and spent many hours fishing at Dale Hollow, Cherokee Lake, Lake Erie and Canada.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Russell Slate officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
