David Paul Horton, age 73, of Xenia, OH passed away on July 20, 2024 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born August 27, 1950 in Sandy Hook, KY to the late Dan Lonnie and Effie May (Roseberry) Horton.

David is survived by his wife of 47 years: Vickie Lynn (Emmons) Horton; sons: David Jr. and Lee (Shelby) Horton; grandchildren: Monica, Devin, Erica, Mason, and Aurora Horton; siblings: Dan Horton, Jr., Arlene Horton, John Horton, and Dora Schoonover; and many extended family members. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sisters: Dottie Horton and Mary Roberts.

David retired from Fairborn Cement after 37 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, David loved playing with his grandchildren.
