David C. Johnson, 70, of Xenia died Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Orlando.

He was born September 28, 1950, in Springfield, the son of Joseph and Edna (Tolle) Johnson.  David worked at Morris Bean for 23 years and for the Xenia City Schools for 25 years.  He was a very Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sons, Andrew (Sabrina) and Jamie (Toshie); grandchildren, Drew, Shiori, Bryce, Colin and Landen; sisters, Dorothy Gibbs, Verda Emery and Patricia Profit; Brothers, Harold, Kenneth and Ronald Johnson; sisters-in-law, Patricia and Brenda Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.  David was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Johnson; brothers, Samuel, Charles, Robert, Lawrence and Roger Johnson; brothers-in-law, Harold Gibbs and John Emery; and sister-in-law, Vicky Johnson.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 23, 2021 at McColaugh Funeral Home, where visitation will be held 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Burial will be held at the new Silvercreek Cemetery in Jamestown.
