David Lee Johnson, age 56, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio the son of Melanie (Netter) Johnson and the late David L. "Butch" Johnson.

David had several nicknames, but was generally referred to as "Duke" amongst family and friends. He was known for his sense of humor, being cool and being a ladies man. He also enjoyed playing dominos and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Melanie; his daughter: Ashley White; his sister: Michelle Johnson; grandchildren: Aalayjah Mobley; Aaleigha Mobley; Che'Mobley, Jr. and Aaniylah White; nephew: Cameron Johnson and niece: Myisha Johnson; numerous great nieces and nephews and many other family members and many friends.

Services will be held 12 Noon Friday, February 17 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Richard "Ducky" Buford officiating. He will be buried at Cherry Grove Cemetery.
