David F. Shuleski, age 68, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Kettering Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in New Jersey on January 8, 1956, the son of Frank and Anne Mazur Shuleski.

David graduated from Manville High School in New Jersey. He proudly served in the USAF for six years before attending University of Findlay, which is where he met his wife, Robin L. (Johnson) and they were married May 9, 1981. He taught math at Greenview High School for 25 years until his retirement. He earned his Master's Degree from University of Dayton. David was a huge football fan, especially loyal to the Miami Dolphins and Ohio State. He enjoyed visiting amusement parks, especially Disney World. Having a mathematical mind and being a mechanic in the Air Force, he enjoyed putting things together, including Lego sets, model trains and airplanes. He was also a Star Wars fan.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a sister: Charlene Mattis and brother: Francis David Shuleski.

David is survived by his wife, Robin; his daughter: Addison; his dogs: Buddy and Pheobe and several extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 2 PM Wednesday, February 7th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with a time of reflection beginning at 3 PM Wednesday. Because David enjoyed being retired and hated dressing up, the family asks that those in attendance dress like David would have: Casual. A celebration of his life will also be held Saturday, February 10th at the home of Ken Johnson beginning at 2 PM. Please ask family members for additional information.
