Debra Sue Quallen, 60, of Dayton and formerly of Xenia, died Tuesday, April 19, 2023 at Kettering Medical Center.

She was born November 19, 1962, in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Harry E. and Beverly J. (Peterson) Wendt. Debra was a veteran of the Navy and Army Reserve. She enjoyed fishing and crocheting.

Debra is survived by her daughter, Charlene (Jonathon) Cooper of Xenia; grandchildren, Jonathan David Quallen-Cooper, Richard Samuel Cooper, Ayreona Jean Cooper and Zoryan Sue Ann Cooper; brothers, Harry Lee, Robert Ray, John Andrew and Eugene Thomas Wendt; and mother-in-law, Joyce Ann DeWalt. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Quallen in 2006; brothers, David Allen and Michael Dean Wendt; and parents, Harry E. and Beverly J. (Peterson) Wendt.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to McColaugh Funeral Home.
