Dennis L. Louderback, age 76, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Wright Rehab in Fairborn after a lengthy illness. He was born August 1, 1946 in Xenia, the son of Edwin and Anna Marie (Gamble) Louderback.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers: Edwin Jr. and Donald Louderback.

He is survived by his soul mate and "Sugar Bear" of nearly 56 years, Mary Ann (Williamson) Louderback; daughter: Mindy (Douglas) Baxter of Fairborn; sister: Phyllis (Larry) Grooms and brother: Robert (Nancy) Louderback, all of Xenia; grandchildren: Jordan (Kaitlin) Smith and Cassie Smith and the extended Baxter family; great grandson: Landen Smith; granddogs: Daisy and Bella; longtime family friends and their families: Sue Pitstick and Charlene Castonguay; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Dennis graduated from Xenia High School. He worked as a meat cutter and manager of the meat department at Fulmer's before becoming an agent with Met-Life Insurance Co. After his retirement he worked in the meat department at Wal-Mart and was a driver for the Xenia Adult Recreation Center. He was very outgoing and had a friendly personality which made his "customers" more like his friends. He enjoyed people and especially tried to leave folks with smiles on their faces.

Services will be held 5 PM Thursday, June 1st at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Dan Jordan officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:30 Thursday until the time of service at the funeral home. He will be interred at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia at a later date.
