Dinah Jo Nidiffer, age 82, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Soin Medical Center. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 6, 1941 to Harry and Mildred (Sewell) Brightwell, both deceased.

Dinah is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years, Carl O. Nidiffer; children: Duard (Reizel) Nidiffer of Las Vegas; Carla Jo (Bob) Carter of Springfield, OH; Jodi Nidiffer of Springfield and Shaun (Heather) Nidiffer of Virginia Beach, VA; sister: Melinda Young of Xenia; brother: Kenny Brightwell of Xenia; grandchildren: Justin (Jessica) Nidiffer; Chase (Katie) Carter; Macie Carter; Madison  Carter: Doug (Lauren) Nidiffer and Tayler (Jordan) Kempton; 5 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Dinah was a member of the first graduating class from Col. White High School in 1959. She married her husband, Carl, on September 2, 1961 at Dayton Baptist Temple (Cornerstone Baptist Church) and was an active member until joining Lighthouse Baptist Church more recently to be closer to home. She was very involved with Vacation Bible School and Awana at the church and enjoyed line dancing with the Young at Heart of Fairborn.  She retired from Cassano's Pizza in Xenia after 25 years.

Services will be held 3 pm Friday, June 2nd at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2040 W. Second St., Xenia with Pastor Josh Bevan officiating.  Visitation will be held immediately prior to the service from 1pm-3pm Friday at the church.
