Donald A. Kyne, age 71, of Spring Valley, Ohio passed away peacefully Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Dayton VA Medical Center. He was born February 24, 1954 in Xenia, the son of John W. and Freda M. (Lehman) Kyne.

Don is survived by his children: Donald A. Kyne, Jr. (Darlene) of Whitman, MA; and Kristie Kyne Cornell, of Weymouth, MA; grandchildren: Mckiley and Adriana Kyne; Scott Jr., Kayla and Sueann Cornell; and his sister, Monica McClanahan; as well as numerous cousins, niece, nephew, great nieces and nephews; and other family and friends. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother-in-law: Timothy E. McClanahan.

Don worked at Yoders in Xenia. He graduated from Xenia High School and proudly served in the US Army, being stationed in Korea. He was a lifetime member of the VFW #2402 and AmVets. He was a member of St. Brigid Parish and attended St. Brigid School. He loved to play Euchre.

Visitation will be held 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 2nd at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia and followed immediately by the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 AM Wednesday, July 2nd at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia. Burial with military honors will conclude at St. Brigid Cemetery.
