Donald Lee Stephens, age 88, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Friends Care Center where he had been a patient for just a couple days. Don was born April 19, 1933 in Xenia.

He was preceded in death by his father: Emerson Stephens; his mother: Minerva (Ramsey) Stephens Jones and his step father: I.O. Jones.

Don is survived by his children: Kathy (Fred) Lewis; David (Dottie Moles) Stephens and Daniel Stephens; grandchildren: Maryjo (Josh) Gerrard; Don (Kristi) Lewis; Kristy Stephens; Amanda Stephens; Danielle Pompilio; Gage Stephens and Cole Stephens; 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Don had served in the Marines Corps Reserves. He had worked for the Greene County Sheriff's Dept. before working for the Xenia Police Dept for 40 years.  He then worked for the Greene County Treasurers office for nearly 20 additional years. He had been a member of AHOP and was a life member of the F&AM Xenia Lodge #49.

Memorial service will be held 12 Noon Monday, November 15, 2021 at AHOP Church, 282 Stelton Road, Xenia with Pastor Mark Brooks officiating.  Gathering for friends and family will be held Monday from 11 AM until the time of service at the church.  He will be buried privately at Woodland Cemetery.
