In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2021; her brother, Greg, in 2022; and sister-in-law, Carlene, in 2022. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Alan Hausser of Griffin, GA; sisters-in-law, Jeanne (Ken) Rotroff of Xenia, Becky (Steve) Binder of Jensen Beach, FL and Joann Hausser of Yellow Springs; nieces, and nephews, Kristine Hausser, Erika Hausser, Heather Hausser, Jona Weaver, Rob Hausser, Kelly Wingert, Jenny Alex, Chris Halden and Carissa Wilmoth; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
Donna attended school in Greene County and graduated Valedictorian at Greenview High School in 1967. After leaving teaching she worked for many years at Wickline's Florist in Xenia.
Donna was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Xenia and was active in many church activities. She and her husband loved traveling, camping, boating and family gatherings. Both were avid supporters of the Xenia Scouts, Wright State University and Cincinnati Reds baseball teams and attended numerous games. They also loved the Ohio State Buckeyes football team.
Donna loved and collected items of art which she used beautifully to decorate her home, especially during the holidays. She loved Hummels and Hallmark ornaments and had a large collection of each. She was a very generous person and loved to give special gifts to her nieces and nephews. She will be missed very much by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, staff and caregivers for their warm and loving care.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church in her memory.
