Donna Jean Irvine, age 88, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Xenia Health and Rehab. She was born March 24, 1933 in Xenia the daughter of Asa L. and Hazel M. (Terrell) Sturgeon.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: John Irvine; and siblings: Blanche Lavonne Bennett; Terry Sturgeon; and Francis Tom Sturgeon.

She is survived by her children: Rhonda L. Ferrell; John R. Jr. (Robin K.) Irvine; James Robert (Amy) Irvine and Jerry R. (Robin A.) Irvine; a brother: Paul Sturgeon; 9 grandchildren: Tommy, Johnny, Makenzie, Jamie, Samantha, Tara, Shelby, Montgomery, and Sydney; 16 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Donna had been a telephone operator and before retiring from Wal-Mart in 2018. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Donna's favorite past time was being with her family.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Monday, July 12th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Dave Scott officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Monday until the time of service at the funeral home. She will be interred with her husband at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
