Doris S. Cole, 95, of Xenia, died Friday, February 21, 2025 at Legacy Village.

She was born February 5, 1930, in Plymouth, PA, the daughter of Harold E. and Thelma (Lewis) Cragle.  She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Xenia, Ohio.  She was a skilled church pianist and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her loving family.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Kevin) Sims; son, William D. (Carol) Cole; grandchildren, Leanne (Jeremy) Owens, Anne Frances (Jonathan) Jangro, Timothy (Erin) Cole, Katie (Jon) Webster, Bethany (Steve) Chmil and Dory (Nathan) Ogden; 21 great-grandchildren; precious friends, Darrell and Nancy Gross and their children Michele and Matthew; and dear friend, Karen Cole Barnes.  She was preceded in death by her husband William R. Cole; and son, Stephen Cole.

Funeral service will be held 1:30 PM Thursday February 27th, at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church, 3490 Jasper Road, Jamestown, where visitation will be held from 12:30 until the time of service.  Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
