Dorothy I. Glass, age 92, of Jamestown, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Trinity Community of Fairborn. She was born October 19, 1930 in Jamestown, Ohio, the daughter of Alva and Louise (Cox) Suttles. She graduated from Silvercreek High School in Jamestown, Class of 1948.

She married her husband, Robert (Bob), the love of her life, and they spent her entire life together farming in the Jamestown area.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert of 67 years. She also was preceded in death by brothers: Daniel Suttles, Robert Suttles and sister: Mary Cornell.

She is survived by her daughter: Bobbie (Darrell) Shackleford of Xenia; son: Toby Glass of Jamestown; four grandchildren: Bill Atley, Nichole (Lon) Etchison, Angela (Alex) Hilderbran, and Robert (Sarah) Glass; and several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two very special sisters-in-law: Jean Suttles and Mickey Suttles.

Dorothy loved her family with all her heart and was always there to lend support, encouragement and a helping hand. She had a heart of gold and was respected and loved by so many.

The family would like to thank Trinity Community of Fairborn for the love, care and support shown to Dorothy and family.

Private graveside services at Silvercreek Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton.
