Douglas Matthew Brakeall, 45, of Xenia, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Alpine Rehabilitation and Bursting Center.

He was born November 21, 1979, in Xenia the son of Daniel and Velva (Dice) Brakeall Flaugher.  Douglas worked as a 2nd Shift Supervisor at Xenia File/Safe Edge Products.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music especially Guns-n-Roses and his beloved dog, Pookie.

Douglas is survived by daughter, Mya Brakeall; son, Cole (Emma) Brakeall; granddaughter, Oakley Brakeall; mother Velva (Dice) Flaugher; brother, Daniel Brakeall; step-brother, Jason Flaugher; nephews, Gavin, Hayden and Devyn Brakeall and Jaymond Flaugher; special nephew, Daniel Henderson; and special cousin, Leora Dice.  He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Brakeall Sr.; sister, Melinda Brakeall; and step-father, Thomas Flaugher.

Memorial service for Doug and Melinda will be held 4:00 PM Monday, November 24th, at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit Street, where visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of service.
