Elizabeth Sue Watts, age 90, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Xenia Health and Rehab Center.  She was born May 31, 1933 in Washington Court House, Ohio the daughter of Frank Williams and Florence (Beatty) Turner.

Sue had been employed by Greene Memorial Hospital as a ward secretary and also at Wal-Mart in Xenia. She worked for the Council on Aging as a Senior Companion volunteer. She also participated in Line dancing. She enjoyed taking yearly cruises with her husband. Sue also attended First Baptist Church in Yellow Springs, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband: Vernon Watts, whom she married March 18, 1958; and dear friend Quinton Ames.

Sue is survived by a sister: Shirley Woodson of Xenia; nephew: Wesley Woodson, of Xenia; nieces: Susan Nelson of Mooresville, NC and Krista Woodson of Columbia, MD; great niece: Taylor Nelson of Columbia, MD; great nephews: William Nelson of Mooresville, NC and Brenton Woodson of Laurel, MD.

Services will be held 11: 30 AM Saturday, October 21, 2023 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM Saturday. Burial to follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
