Emma Joanne Fristoe, age 89, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Soin Medical Center. She was born October 9, 1932 in Cedarville, Ohio the daughter of Charles F. and Fannie Tonkinson Watkins.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was recently preceded in death by her husband: John E. Fristoe in January 2022; and her brothers: Carl and Paul Watkins.

She is survived by her children: Lisa (Ray) Kuhbander; and David (Teresa) Fristoe.

Joanne was the co-owner of Country Stencils located in Beavercreek. She attended Miami University and was an active member of the Spring Valley United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Xenia FISH food pantry.

Services will be held 4 PM Thursday, March 17 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Dar Hensley officiating. She will be buried with her husband at Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 3:30 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. The family asks that guests continue the COVID19 protocols by wearing masks.
