Ernest H. Salmons, age 40, of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Soin Medical Center due to a motorcycle accident earlier that evening.

He was born November 1, 1981 in Xenia, Ohio the son of Michael S.  and the late Lora M. (Webb) Salmons.

In addition to his mother, Ernie was preceded in death by his sister: Robin Salmons; niece: Logann Davis; brother-in-law: Brian Graham; nephew: Steven Lemke.

He is survived by his father: Michael S. Salmons; children: Keoni, Brooklynn, Zoe and Brianna; his siblings: Michael (Kim) Salmons of Xenia; Lora (Doug) Lemke of Beavercreek; Tom (Amy) Salmons of Xenia; Mark (Toni) Salmons of Peebles; Paul David Salmons of Farmersville; Charity (Johnny) Estle of Beavercreek; Jim Salmons of Xenia; Christian Graham of Xenia; Constant (Howie) Vellia of Beavercreek; Rachel (Jay) Graham of Cedarville; Jonathon Salmons of Xenia; and Leah (Christian) Mayer of Beavercreek; his companion: Krista Cobb; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Ernie was a partner with Hyatt Plumbing and Elite Remodeling, and was loved by his customers. He received his Associate Degree from Lassen Community College in California. Ernie never met a stranger and loved to make people laugh. He especially loved his motorcycles. His pride and joy were his children.

Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, June 29 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Ryan Hagen and his father, Pastor Mike Salmons officiating. He will be buried at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
