Francis L. "Frank" Alm, age 87, of Xenia, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at his residence surrounded by loved ones. He was born June 4, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Arnold and Daisy (Powers) Alm.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his siblings: Roberta Alexander, Paul Alm, Leona Philhower, Roger Alm, Everett Alm and Marsha Low.

Frank graduated from Wyanette High School in Illinois. He proudly served in the US Air Force. Frank was a jack of all trades, working as an independent contractor. He loved farming. He was a "talker" and loved to tell stories. Frank also loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his wife, Linda K. (Neff) whom he married December 16, 1971; his children: Kevin Alm of Hooker, OK; Cynthia Alm (Chad Wagner) of Frisco, TX; Michael (Amy) Alm of Johnstown, OH and Tracie (Robert) Behlke of Xenia; grandchildren: Lori Edwards, Mariah Smith, Kristina Farrar, Buddy Alm, Eathan Alm, Evan Alm, Mykenna Alm, Ashten and Eva Behlke; a special niece: Beth Roberts.

His family will be celebrating his life privately.
