G. Faye Conkel, age 92, of Jeffersonville, Ohio, passed away at Court House Manor on April 25, 2024 of natural causes.

Faye was born on March 7, 1932 in Jeffersonville, Ohio to the late Frank and Anna (Glispie) Smart. She was a 1950 graduate of the Ohio Soldiers & Sailors Orphans Home in Xenia, Ohio and retired from Ohio Bell in 1983. She enjoyed boating, being outside in the sunshine, and watching game shows. Faye will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and good friend.

In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her first husband, Jackie Lee Milligan; daughters Donna Marcum, Pamela Tolle, and son Leroy Conkel Jr.; grandson, Patrick, and great-grandchildren, Daniel and Mya, as well as seven sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her husband, Leroy Conkel Sr.; her daughters, Wilma (Max) Meinert and Jackie (Charlie) Morgan; sons Mark Milligan and Jeffrey (Cheryl) Conkel; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at McColaugh Funeral Home in Xenia, Ohio. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
