Gary R. Gould, age 83, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Wright Rehab in Fairborn. He was born March 1, 1942 in Wellston, Ohio the son of George "Bo" and Alene (Bishop) Gould, both deceased.

Gary graduated from Wellston High School, Class of 1960. While in high school Gary was an athlete, playing on their only undefeated football team. He also excelled in track, qualifying 3rd in the state in low hurdles and holding the school record for 15 years. He was an avid Ohio State Fan and enjoyed John Wayne movies. He retired from Frost Roofing.

Gary is survived by his wife, Amy (Behm) whom he married April 1, 1978; his sons: Tom and Tim Gould, both of Bellbrook, David Gould of Kettering and Danny (Michelle) Gould of FL; sister: Wanda Cheatwood of Wellston; grandchildren: Anthony Gould, Jenna (Ryan) Yohpe, Taylor (Shane) Hartley, Parker, Titan, Story and Atlas Gould; 6 great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Celebration of his life will be held 6 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Josh Bevan officiating. Visitation will be held 4 -6 PM Tuesday at the church. Burial will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, January 21st at Salem Cemetery, Wellston, Ohio.
