Gladys M. Campbell, age 80, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born March 10, 1943 in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of Dennis and Sylvania (Gibson) Stidham.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Campbell in 2014; grandson: Josh Campbell in 2023; and 11 siblings: Fred, Rutherford "Duke," Gene, Lawrence, Carl, Teddy, Christine, Irene, Colene "Cokie," Nita, and Shirley. She was also preceded in death by her best friend: Connie Inlow.

She is survived by her son: Michael Campbell; daughter: Pamela (Tony) Matson; granddaughter: Amanda Matson; great grandson: Joshua M. Campbell Jr. "JJ"; and her best friend's family: Levi Inlow and children; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Gladys graduated from MC Napier High School in Hazard, KY Class of 1962. She had been a member of the Xenia Church of Christ. She enjoyed crafting and sewing, working in her garden and flowers. Gladys especially loved Elvis.

Services will be held 11:30 AM Monday, November 13, 2023 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. She will be buried with her husband at Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
