Gladys Deandrea (Glass) Watson passed away surrounded by family on January 31, 2025 at the age of 67. She was born in Xenia, Ohio to parents Thomas Earl Glass and Frances Marie (Greene) Glass on January 29, 1958. A life-long Xenia resident, she enjoyed caretaking and was employed at several Xenia nursing homes including many years at Greenewood Manor. She married Frank Edward Watson of Wilmington, Ohio in1979 and became loving mother to Frankie L Watson, Deanna K. Watson, and Crystal B. Watson.

Gladys also became "Aunt Gladys" and "Mom Gladys" to stepchildren, as well as countless cousins, nieces, nephews and neighborhood friends and enjoyed cheering us on as our official coach in all things: Badminton, volleyball, snowman building, kickball, baseball, double dutch, checkers, swimming, tag football and outdoor cookouts.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, sister Dawn (Harry) Thompson, brother Raymond A. Glass, and friends: Erica Foster and Elizabeth A. Phelps. She is survived by her husband, Frank, her children, siblings, Carmen (Karen) Glass of Middletown, Thomas (Dina) Glass of Xenia, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and grandson Kasaun Singleton.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 13th, at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third Street, Dayton.  McColaugh Funeral is serving the family.
