Gregory Ross Keirn, age 67, of Xenia passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 9, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of Robert and Bettylou (Rosskamp) Valley.

Greg graduated from Springdale High School in Pittsburgh and worked as a bus driver for the City of Pittsburgh. He proudly served in the US Army and was very patriotic throughout the rest of his life. He worked for Guardian Finance and more recently with the Lebanon Racing Casino. He was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Greg had many pets over the years, and missed his buddy Rosie when he was away at the hospital. He also had a love/hate relationship with his cat, Socks. When he was healthy he loved to play golf. He enjoyed sport shoot together with his son, Christopher.

Greg is survived by his wife of 23 years, Renee (Humphreys) Keirn, whom he married August 24th; children: Ryan McClafferty of Pittsburgh, PA, Erin Rae Keirn of New Bern, NC, and Christopher Keirn of Xenia; his sister, Roberta Honse of Pittsburgh; 4 grandchildren: Monica (Michael) Griffin of New Mexico, Brennan, Kiera, & Colin McClafferty of Pittsburgh, PA, Great grandson,  Miles Griffin of New Mexico; special niece: Michelle Honse also of Pittsburgh, PA.

A gathering for friends and family will be held 5-7 PM Friday, August 15th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. He will be buried with military honors at the National Cemetery, Dayton at a later date.
