Gregory Lee Scott, aka Gregg or Scottie, age 66, of Jamestown, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital after an unexpected but brief illness.  Gregg was born February 14, 1956 in Jamestown, the son of Carole E. (Irons) and the late Arnold Lee Scott.

In addition to his father, Gregg was preceded in death by his wife: Lisa Gregory; brother: Drew Scott; and mother-in-law: Barbara J. Sprigg.

Gregg is survived by daughters: Ashley Scott of Jamestown and Meghan (Justin) Shelpman of Kettering; siblings: Brent (Val) Scott, Lisa (David) Green and Erik (Joy) Scott, all of Jamestown; Robyn (Mike) Curry of Wilmington and Uncle Mac (Cindy) Scott of Washington Court House; granddaughters: Jaylin and Aubrey; as  well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Gregg was self-employed as a plumber having many local customers who became his friends. He graduated

from Greenview High School. Gregg was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather and uncle.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Friday, March 18 ^th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Aaron Turner officiating with reflections by his family. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. He will be buried at Silvercreek Cemetery, Jamestown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jamestown Cancer Care or the Ohio Valley Hospice in Gregg's memory.
